Okay, I had heard that Hugh Laurie had bowed out of the upcoming Superman movie--he was to have played Perry White--in favor of Frank Langella. I just read that it's because Laurie is too busy shooting the second season of House his Fox medical drama, which I watch and enjoy. That's unexpected good news.

(Except that Tru Calling was renewed for a second season, too, and look what happened there...)
