Season premiere of ER aired tonight. Nothing particular I want to say about it; the show has been on for something like 50 years now, so there's not really any surprises. What is noteworthy is the next episode isn't on for another two weeks. What's up with that? I mean, if NBC can't get their shit together enough to show two new episodes in a row first thing in the season, it's no wonder people are drifting away from the networks.

Idiots.

Shoot. I knew about the debates, and then probably forgot what day they were on. (Probably because I'm not planning on watching them; at this point, it's not like I need help deciding which to vote for.) Still, it's not like NBC didn't know they were coming, and couldn't have planned around that, either starting ER a couple of weeks early or late, to gain some momentum by showing a few new episodes in a row. Except, of course, then it wouldn't have premiered head-to-head with the new season of Without a Trace, and it would be like NBC had blinked or something.
